My name is Steph and my part of this story begins years ago on my family farm, where the idea of building a wedding barn was tossed into the conversation, and it struck a chord that resonated deeply with me.

That dream never faded; it just simmered in the background. Over the past 12 years, I dedicated my time to our family-owned Ford dealership, eventually taking over ownership with my brother. During those years, I also welcomed two beautiful children into the world. However, as I returned to work, especially after the birth of my second child, something didn't quite feel right. The dealership no longer felt like the place where I belonged.

It was time for a change. My husband, Alex and I engaged in countless discussions about what that change could mean for our family. We pondered the possibilities, weighing the feasibility of bringing my long-held dream to life. In 2023, I set a goal: to explore the possibility of turning this dream into a reality, setting a clear direction for myself without necessarily taking the leap just yet. Little did I know that on July 4th, I would become the proud owner of a piece of property that would breathe life into this cherished dream. And thus, The 1914 Venue was born!
