1914 FAQ'S
There are a ton of questions that come up when trying to plan out such a big day! Let me help with a few of our most popular!
Do you include tables and chairs? We do!! We have beautiful, custom wood harvest tables and unique wood chairs. The 1914 has rustic elegance covered- if you choose to go above that, I can't wait to see your vision!
What is your ceremony space like? We have a handmade wooden arch made with old beams from one of our barns! It is nestled among the trees with pretty benches for guests to sit on!
What if it rains? Our backup plan for a rainy day is having the ceremony in the barn. Depending on the size of your wedding, you could do it in the stone cocktail area or upstairs in the reception area. Alternatively, if you are rain or shine kinda couple- some umbrellas make for some REALLY cool pictures!
Do you have a full bar for guests? Yes, we actually have two! We have our mini bar in the cocktail area, and then we have our full size bar upstairs for when the party gets going!
What is your capacity? 170 is our maximum, and we don't have a minimum :)
Do you offer catering? Not yet! As we are getting started I thought it would be best to allow couples to customize their day exactly to them! Some guests bring in food trucks (the taco truck was a personal fav!), some guests have full sit down dinners and some are in-between! Any option works for us and we have a prep space for your caterer to work in!
Can we bring our own alcohol? No, all alcohol is provided by The 1914 for the wedding. This is because we hold the liquor license so that responsibility is on us! We also provide the bartenders!
Do you have parking available? Yes, We have tons of parking! Guests are always more than welcome to leave their vehicles overnight if they are arranging alternate transportation. We don't take responsibility for the vehicles left, but they won't be towed away! LOL
Are you open to working with vendors not on your preferred list? Absolutely!! I always love making new connections! Our preferred vendor list is a guide of people that I personally know and have worked with. I feel comfortable vouching for their professionalism, integrity and abilities! But if you have a special vendor that you want to be part of your day, let's do it!
